Wide, bold and big brushstrokes make this painting intriguing to look at! It captures the eye with the shadows in the foreground and draws it through the warm sands to the almost abstract sea break. The perspective created by the sea break takes you all the way back to the horizon. A `massive sky` full of interesting brushstrokes and details that shouldnt work....but just does, give this picture some brilliant light that is also reflected in the water near the shoreline. Cool greys and cool blues. Hard blues, petrol blue and titanium white.
