Mellow painting with great vanille creams and soft blues. The horizon, in real life a man made rock sea break in Ijmuiden, (north sea), reminds me of a vanille pod bubbeling in a pan. Impressionist in style with broad bold brushstrokes clearly visable in the painting. Lots of deapth and warmth in this painting which is set off by a small amout of red ochre on the horizon. The painting is framed in an authentic classical italian hand finished wooden frame with a warm wash finish. An absolute joy!
