A Lovely painting with lots of movement in the forground. Very bold and beautiful brush strokes in both the sea and sky. I always try to add a modern twist to my paintings. In this painting there are three dashes of colour on the rocky shore which changes this seascape into something intreagingly modern but the essence remains very classical impressionism. The dashes lead the eye down the rocks ending in a small dash of black...which i love to incorperate in my paintings. The rest colours are very soft with warm pink underlayers on the horizon. Cool greys on the rocks, soft browns in the sand.
