Voorburg Market There's a market in Voorburg every Saturday. In winter, there are lights and patio heaters. Everyone chats, the atmosphere is warm. People discuss their week, the weather, and how their children are doing. Bicycles are parked around the market. Everyone has come up with a solution to get their full bags onto their bike or into their car. At the cheese stall, you can even sample different types of cheese, and prices often drop in the late afternoon to prevent spoilage. This painting is 60 x 50 cm and is an oil on canvas.

Mariëlle van Woudenberg is geboren in Nederland in 1960. Zij startte haar creatieve carrière als een auto didacticus en neemt wekelijks deel aan de cursus modeltekenen bij de Haagse Kunstkring. Vaak ontmoet ze andere artiesten in haar atelier wat zeer inspirerend werkt. Mariëlle is gefascineerd door het menselijk lichaam. Emoties zijn haar drive bijvoorbeeld in sport en de natuur. Kunstenaars waardoor zij zich graag laat inspireren zijn, Vincent van Gogh, Marc Chagal, Pieter Breugel de Oude.
