Over Nico van Wijk
Naam: Nico van Wijk Geboren in Amsterdam , op 16 februari 1949. Ik volg een opleiding Schilderen aan de Academie voor Schone Kunsten te Arendonk in België. Mijn werk is veelal kleurrijk en heeft expressionistische trekken. Belangrijke thema's zijn de natuur, landschappen, rood-wit-blauw -gebaseerd op de Nederlandse vlag- en abstracte werken. De meeste schilderijen zijn uitgevoerd in acryl, soms in olieverf. I follow a painting course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk in Belgium. My work is mostly colorful and has expressionistic features. Important themes are nature, landscapes, red-white-blue -based on the Dutch flag- and abstract works. Most paintings are made in acrylic, sometimes in oil paint.
